Obon on the Square: Saturday July 31, 2021 at 5pm, Santa Rosa Courthouse Square

So many Obon festivals have been canceled for two years in a row due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. In partnership with the Santa Rosa Metro Chamber’s Open & Out program offering outdoor activities in downtown Santa Rosa, Sonoma County Taiko is offering up a socially-distanced, educational bon dance event. Come learn about this important traditional observance, receive bon dance instruction, and observe a moment of silence for those we have lost to the pandemic and who have now joined the ancestors. Special guests Ensohza and Enmanji Community Odori Group will also be participating.
