Taiko All Levels - Monthly Membership

Youth is 14-17 years old.<br>- Family Monthly Membership: More than one of you joining together? Taiko Basics - Intro Class

Taiko Basics covers how we prepare ourselves to play taiko. How taiko and the way we approach and learn is also addressed in the context of Japanese culture. No previous experience necessary! $20 per person at the door, or pay online and save $5!<br><br>Upcoming Dates (usually the 1st Saturday of every month): <br>December 7<br><br>Advanced reservation required. If you would like to join SCT as a member your first month will be pro-rated to include the fee for Taiko Basics ($25).<br><br>Check-in: 10:45 am<br>Class 11 am – 12 pm

Taiko All Levels - One Class Drop-In

BEGINNER LEVEL<br>Fridays, 6-7:30pm<br>Saturdays, 12:45-1:45pm<br><br>The beginner class develops the fundamental practice of playing and performing taiko. We will focus on the basics of taiko, drills, basic songs, and incorporating connectedness. Members will advance to the next level on an individual basis according to the skills comfort level.<br><br>INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED LEVEL<br>Fridays, 7:45-9:15pm<br>Saturdays, 2-3pm<br><br>The intermediate/advanced class is where skills are honed and new material is introduced as well as practices related to staging and performing taiko.
